Obtaining Restraining Orders in Michigan
These are court orders issued to restrict or disallow certain behavior while a case is pending. In family law matters, the most common is an injunctive order to protect the property in the marital estate from being sold, destroyed or hidden until a property settlement has occurred. Injunctive orders are also used to prevent beneficiary changes on health and life insurance policies and on retirement accounts.
